This is a local band I've heard a few times.. Cybergeist.. Sally Debachary is on Bass and she plays for another local band called Psykill. Lizette is on vocals.. She is from the band "Dust"...

The Jezabels kind of springs to mind, though their described as a "four-piece indie, alternative rock and disco pop group". I'd say they had an edge.

I don't think I've stumbled across this thread before. I own albums by Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation and Epica, my favourite being Nightwish with Tarja. Always on the lookout for new bands similar to these

^ Then the latest album from Xandria (Neverworld's End) would be a good one to get.

New singer Manuela Kraller is almost, note-for-note, as good as Tarja.

Yeah I like this - I'll check out Xandria's thread (think I noticed one). I'd be interested in knowing what the previous singer sounds like too.

A much sweeter voice. The band might have been slightly more gothic metal than symphonic with Lisa, but that's up to opinion.
