Id like to know who some of your favourite drummers in metal are. Id like to mention my favourite blast beat drummer, he made blast beats with Morbid Angel, that is Pete Sandoval. Plays some intense blast beat drums.

My fave if Varg Vikernes. He has that classic, simple style like my favorite rock drummer, Ralph Molina. I thnk the drums are just about the most important instrument, but I don't see it as the kind of instrument that benefits from technical flourish.



As far as more technical guys go, the first that comes to mind is Flo Mounier from Cryptopsy.
