I searched this thread and couldn't find any praise to Steven Tyler for his harmonica skills.

Anyway, Honkin' On Bobo (which isn't their best album) is chock full of harmonica tunes.

Eyesight to the Blind

Back Back Train

BTW, Back Back Train's lead vocalist is Joe Perry :grinthumb

A couple more fantastic Harmonica leads by Tyler:

Hangman Jury

Pink

Are you kidding? That's one of the things I love most about the former Steven Tallerico.

He's really, really good, and I think that gets lost in the shuffle...

The cat can flat out blow!!!

I had this one posted on page 2, but it's got a BMG copyright thing:

And here are some others I know you love:

This one is a real treat:

And this compilation, just 'cause, ya know?

I could put more, but this little taste has been enough to make me want to come up with a Tyler's mouthpiece car cd.:)

Yeah, and besides it was a much better time when singers were kind of expected to pull their own weight. Added a cool dynamic to songs where they were added. Most of the greats (in blues based rock) did this at one time or another.

I live in Buffalo, NY
Anything by James Cotton

I guess I would say Whammer Jammer by Magic Dick with J. Geils Band but I could say any early J.Geils tune. I just seen them live over the summer & Magic Dick is a show in himself. Phenomenal live!

I'm also partial to Pills by the NY Dolls with David Johansen on the harp

I agree, Steven is very talented, and he can play more than just the harmonica ;)
