I saw Duane Allman immediately and had to agree! His work on Layla is pretty well known, but beyond that he has proven his worth as a slide guitarist beyond measure

I don't really know, but whenever I hear guitar players talking about slide these days it's Sonny Landreth.

Also, did anyone mention Joe Walsh yet?...or Jimmy Page?
