favorite guitar effect

sometimes i just like distortion and my tremolo bar. I also love the wah eah pedal

My amps have a distortion channel on them, so I don't need a distortion pedal. And I'd say about 99% of the time, the distortion is on.

For effects pedals, my favorites were always:

wah pedal
phaser or flanger
digital delay is cool if used properly
octave pedal

octave is so cool because you can basically play and sound like you have a bass line playing directly under you. Doesn't work with everything, but in the right songs, it's a LOT of fun.

Does reverb count?... I really don't use effects at all... really subtle chorus, and those "vibe" pedals are pretty cool, but I don't really use anything outside of reverb, and subtle chorus to thicken things up
I usually only plug into a boost pedal, but I don't really consider boost or OD to be an effect

I don't like wah or flange at all

I do like phasers though, well... I don't really use them like most do
I don't know how to describe the sound really, but I got a sound very similar to Brian may's tone in We Will Rock You, I guess it's a shame I don't like Queen...
