I'm not a huge fan of country music and I have to say I might have a total of 10 Country CD's.. But there are a few great songs coming out of the country music world..
Post songs by country artist you enjoy.. Video's are nice..:D

I'm a Vince Gill fan.. well to a point.. His vocals are incredible..

Here's two songs I listen to by a couple of Country's top artist..

This Vince is such a sad story and I could only imagine that scenerio playing out..

I know Garth Brooks is both loved and hated but I've always been on the positive side of the fence with him! He's always been a country artist with a rock star mentality!

Garth Brooks-The Dance
(Beautiful song)

I have so many country artists that I like. Brooks and Dunn, the Kentucky Headhunters, Johnny Cash of course. I used to be a fan of Garth Brooks back in the 90s when he was hot but then lost interest. Steve Earle, Dwight Yokum, Georgia Satellites, John Fogerty, the Mavericks, Robert Gordon, CCR, Mark Chestnutt, Dale Watson, George Strait, Clint Black, some of ZZ Top and many other are on my list.

ZZ Top - Sharp Dressed Man

Thumper had to go and post a thread on one of my weaknesses, country music.

There are alot of bands with a rock attitude like:

Lady Antebellum This duo should be rock!

Love Don't Live Here

Looking For a Good Time

Diamond Rio Great Country rock/ vocal harmonies.

Beautiful Mess

Unbelievable

Little Big Town This Group has amazing vocal harmonies.

Boondocks

Bones

And a cross over artist:

Darius Rucker

I Got Nothing

Alright

I have tons of favorites.....but I will save them for more posts.

Vince Gill does have an amazing voice, and his vocals are recognizable instantly, he is so unique.

This song is Sappy but these two have a great harmony together, and the song is beautiful:

Dolly & Vince - I Will Always Love You

This song displays Vince Gill's vocal range, it is sappy too, though:

Never Knew Lonely

Do you need a tissue?? !! :heheh:

You picked a goodern to post Thumper when you posted When I Call Your Name. I like Patty Loveless singing on this one with Vince. The vocals and piano are it's strength. I love anything by Patty Loveless.

I'm not in to todays country that much. I loved the late 80's and the 90's the most. Alan Jackson, The Judds, George Strait, Deana Carter, Martina McBride are a few. I also enjoy some older country especially Loretta Lynn.

Deana Carter - Strawberry Wine
