Love both, but I have to say that Boston's debut is one of the best debuts in rock history. It gets my vote for being 100% solid from start to finish.

Escape is a fantastic album, their best seller behind their greatest hits, but I prefer their Infinity album.


Therefore, I have to go with Boston.

Is there another album that receives the kind of radio play that "Boston" does? I think not. Every single song from that album gets airplay as opposed to "Don't Stop Believing", "Stone In Love", and "Open Arms" from "Escape. I like Journey more as a band but Boston takes this one by quite a bit.

Boston gets my vote, I like ESC4P3 but Journey Infinity & Evolution are both better albums IMO.
