He also had Yoko as a singer for that band so that argument is pretty empty.

Not necessarily. If his wife considered herself a performer, and John was hosting a band, wouldnt it make sense that he invites HIS WIFE? I mean, she would be a little cold over dinner the next night if he didnt.

As technical skills go, neither Ringo or Keith could TOUCH Neil.

So, "Who is best"? Neil wins hands down.

Well Neil certainly had the biggest drum kit, that's for sure. But are you sure that he's the drummer who laid down the catchiest beat to each song?

Was that not the main problem with the Beatles there in the end? Yoko somehow saw herself as a performer, while John was the only Beatle who agreed? Wasn't she showing up at Beatles' recording sessions when the fellows had previously agreed to a "No girls allowed" rule?

*Cough* *Cough*
Paul McCartney once said that Ringo wasn't even the best drummer in the Beatles. *Cough*
Look how Energetic Moonie is on stage!
And how awesome Peart is in the studio.
My heart goes with Keith.

Nvm..You're the youngest person here.

BTW, Paul McCartney never said that.

A weak argument, BeatlesFan, shows that you are fighting a loosing battle.

Peart is the best in studio, no doubt, but it's real hard to play on stage like Moon did.
Ringo was not the best drummer in the Beatles, both Lennon and McCartney can play the drums better. He wasn't special, he kept up a tempo. Overrated drummer, overall.

Also, Best was better than Starr. He was just to much of a "pretty-boy" and he didn't like the Beatle haircut, so he was dropped out.

Im going to go on a limb and say you dont
A) play drums
B) study drumming history

Technicians, after the beatles, ripped the studio up trying to mimick Ringo's sound. And Lennon never played drums for the beatles. And listening to Paul's drumming, anyone who actually plays drums will know that, while it is very good for a non drummer, it isnt nearly as good as ringos.

Since when was John Lennon (him + Ringo are my fav Beatles) a drummer? Kid, you got two things wrong already. The other one I already pointed out earlier.
