I haven't listened to Trooper in a very long time. Somewhat of a nostalgic band for me.
I've always been a fan of Chilliwack and have all thier albums up to Breakdown In Paradice. Thier first couple of albums are somewhat of a experimental jam, direction and an ambience based on pacific northwest aboriginal themes, though there is couple of good shorter rockin' tunes.
Subsequent releases the band is more pop/rock oriented with some excellent singles. However, Dreams, Dreams, Dreams the band somewhat turns it down and adds acoustic touches which works very well. "Fly At Night" is a Canadian classic.
