A tremendous band. We first saw them in 78 at Sheffield City hall with squeeze supporting.
The place was sold and both bands had mountains of amps and stacks. Squeeze in 78 were still playing heavy fast pub rock. Their Chad and Dave stuff came later. Jools Holland was with them and they almost took the roof off they were so loud. They were also excellent . I went out the next day and bought the packet of three EP.
Feelgood were on top form. They were absolutely marvellous as they ripped through stupidity etc.
We saw them many more times.
