I have my own collection of MP3s. I'll sometimes listen to talk radio, but it's mostly turned to shit as well.

I don't listen that much to our own local radiostations because it's hopeless. Instead I make use of the free app 'Audials Radio' (Works with Win 8 8.1 and 10), then I can listen to radiostations from all over the world, except for a few national radiostations.

The only time I listen to the radio is when I'm in the truck, otherwise its internet station CRDC or The Spooky Tooth Channel on Pandora.

I love the Bob and Tom show in the mornings which plays on our local station the Fox...92.5.

Otherwise, I listen to very little radio any more, except in the car when I forget to pack along a few CD's.

When I still had Sirius/XM, I would listen to Hair Nation or Ozzy's Boneyard and that was just about it. Every so often, I wander further back on the dial (channels in the mid 20's) that played classic rock. Beyond that, I didn't wander much outside of those 2 main stations. It wasn't worth the monthly price for me.

Add to it, I have a USB port for my radio and I can put a few thousand songs on a jump drive and I NEVER have filler, fluff or other crap that I don't want to listen to. IT makes for a FAR better listening experience in the car. At work, it's pretty much the same for me. I have about 45gb worth of music on my phone. THat's good enough for me when I'm at work.

Long story longer... ? :heheh: I listen to the local rock stations if I want to listen to the radio.
