Well I was at the show in Manchester and they were fantastic as per usual. They were sold out which was great, I was not at the front as would have been crushed. Good thing was the show was in a night club so finished at 22:00 so I missed nothing and got the last train home.

What a blinding set of new and old songs, there were old and young there all enjoying the show, got myself a great purple beanie hat as I have several shirts. The band get better and better. Will see them again and again...

Not gonna lie, I bought "Farm" just for the artwork. I'd previously bought "Where You Been?" and was turned off by Mascis' vocals, but I loved the lyrics. "Farm" blew me away... "I Want You to Know" is awesome... and I even gave "Where You Been" another listen and appreciated it a lot more. Dinosaur Jr is like Sonic Youth + Crazy Horse era Neil Young.

I agree, glad you found the time to re-listen to the album and liked it, they are a great band and they have loads of fans, will always go and see them if they are within distance.

Listening to this album at moment, a spin off from Jr, they are called Witch and sound very good, bit of stoner and feedback...and Mascis on Drums!!
