I've always wondered just how responsible Bob was for the instrumentals in his songs. Blonde On Blonde and Highway 61 were both landmark albums, both in terms of the music and the lyrics. Can we really credit Dylan for the musical aspect, though? Did he have session musicians that were responsible and relatively uncredited for their musical contributions?
