Okay... ehm... *clears throat*

Both great openers. Both quite similar songs, musically. Both great albums. It is tough to pick one. But I have reasons why I can pick one over the other.

Saw Whitesnake in London, 5th December 2011. Stood right at the front. As an encore they did a medley of Burn and Stormbringer. It was the highlight of the show. David Coverdale can still sing Burn, so can Glenn Hughes (even though I always disliked his vocals on the albums). It is a killer song and it gives that satisfaction from hearing this monster. Don't know how about you, but Burn cheers me up a lot every time I hear it. Highway Star... well... Made In Japan version is also a killer, but for Ian to sing that high these days... if you know what I mean.

I'm taking out Highway Star, thus Burn is the winner!

"BURN."

"oh yeah."

"Burn" is one of my two favorite Deep Purple songs so I am pretty happy with that winner. :)
