This begs the question of is it really a cover? I mean it's the same singer.(and he also co-wrote it) Sure there's a different backing band and it's been reworked, but this shouldn't be considered a cover, should it?

I have seen DIO play Man On The Sliver Mountain at least 4 times and it was awesome each time but gotta go with the original
