Again, I'd like to repeat what I said in the OP which is that there is going to be varying degrees of subjectiveness to this thread since it is the world-wide-web.

Part of the problem is also that radio has tended to ignore a lot of past hits and boil artists' careers down to one or two songs. I mean, Otis Redding a one hit wonder? Booker T. and the MG's?

Going to be really tough to decide what is and isn't a true "one hit wonder". As pointed out, what artist had one hit in the US may have had several in Europe, and vice versa.


Must ponder on this one for a bit.
