We have a great class of 7 inductees for the CRF Rock Hall of fame for 1991. Included in the class are 3 artists that are not in the Cleveland hall joining Carole King, Buddy Rich, Manfred Mann, and Albert King in that category. Thanks to the voters, and congratulations to:

Rod Stewart (Cleveland Hall induction 1994)

For the 1992 voting we will continue our two-tiered voting. For the nomination process you should vote for your favorite 15 artists. However of those 15, only a max of 5 can come from this year’s new eligible list. Of course, you don't have to vote for any new eligibles if you don't want. The list below is not inclusive, I have gotten rid of some names from the previous extremely long lists, but if you want to vote for somebody not on the list they are fair game as long as they aren't already inducted and debuted in 1966 or before (and after 1940). This round of voting will be open into Sunday January 29, with the induction phase starting later that day. Whether you have voted in previous elections or not, you are more than welcome to join in the fun.

FYI: I forgot to include a big artist when they became eligible in 1987. They will be eligible now and forever after. They will not count as one of the five newly eligible if you do vote for them this round:
The Temptations

Also with Etta James passing, now would be a good time to honor her if you are so inclined. Or not.

On further review, I am going to make Mothers of Invention as part of Frank Zappa. I'm not sure what I was thinking originally, but there really weren't any Mothers of Invention without Frank Zappa. missingnochi, I will send you a message about changing your vote. Sorry for the confusion--my bad.

^^^ that's good and I agree completely. While Zappa wasn't always with the Mothers, I don't think there was a "mothers" without Zappa
