Great topic. First one, King For a Day Fool For a Lifetime by Faith No More - it's pretty simple artwork, but I really like it for some reason

Oh hell! Why have I never seen this thread before?! I've been fascinated by album covers since I was a kid. One of the first that comes to mind is Dark Side of the Moon.

This was always a standout for me: The Ozark Mountain Daredevils, "It'll Shine When It Shines." I love the design, and the woman just fascinated me. Great album, btw.

I'm going to cheat. One of my favorite album "covers" is actually the photo on the back. Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Nuthin' Fancy." The 70s bell bottoms, the flying hippie hair, the boots, Billy Powell's attitude, the stark landscape, it all works. Classic photo.

Found this while Googling; who knows, it might be true: "i have read the quote from Billy about how it was hot and the photographer was taking about a million pictures and he was getting annoyed and that's why he flipped the bird in that famous photo..."
