Classic Southern Rock

I've always been a huge fan of what I call classic southern rock, and still listen to it often. So who do you like?

Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Allman Brothers Band, Blackfoot and The Outlaws are my favourites of the classic era.

I think you're right, but I can't seem to change the poll.

Favorites are Skynyrd,Blackfoot,Molly Hatchet and Outlaws.I love .38 Special but they gradually begin less Southern Rock,though the music was still great.

I'm always a bit puzzled by the Southern Rock category, ZZ Top is Southern Rock?, I've even seen Kansas listed as Southern Rock on some compilation albums. I'm voting Allman Brothers because I'm not completely sure, but I think they either invented or defined the genre.

Lynyrd Skynyrd for me. They introduced me to the genre back in the early '70s with the absolute knock out album 'Pronounced'. Sadly they were dogged by tragedy.
