Divinyls singer Chrissy Amphlett Dead

Former Divinyls singer Chrissy Amphlett has died in New York after a long battle with cancer.
Amphlett, 53, lived in New York with her husband, former Divinyls drummer Charley Drayton.
She revealed that she had breast cancer in 2010 and she had also battled multiple sclerosis.

What a sad day for rock n roll. I really loved Chrissy and Divinyls. RIP to an Aussie legend.

its been a rough couple of weeks for fans of aussie "Pub rock" or music in general...cant say I enjoyed the Divinyls, more often than not I was there to see the bands they were sharing the gig with BUT you cant deny Chrissie had magnetism and a unique rock voice and outlook

Still feel gutted about this as I was a big fan.
Such a great singer but also inspiring as a person to many. Big loss.
