China Grove Vs. Brother Louie

I'm not even a fan of China Grove but I really didn't like the Louie, Louie song at all! My vote does go for China Grove but I trust MP's word and I'll keep in mind that Stories have have much better songs!

One of those situations where the band didn't want to record a song. It's so funny as to how all their stuff blows this tune away and it became their biggest hit. Wasn't even their song....

IMO ... China Grove is just another middle of the road Doobie Brothers tune ... It is great to listen to while driving but doesn't make any favourites list of mine ...
