Greg, Craig, MP, Catalano, Noodles, and anyone I missed(sorry)

LG actually gave me this hopefully excellent idea.... A CRF collaboration, maybe three songs, hopefully diverse and different enough to represent what CRF is about, musical diversity...

The recording doesn't need to be professional or anything, if you don't have access to pro or home recording gear you can even use something as simple as a rockband microphone into audacity...

I play guitar, and can do a bit of keys, I also have a nice midi setup and can do just about any instrument you can imagine through that, obviously it won't sound great as the lead because of the limitations of it being keyboard controlled, sounds damn good, but it has it's limits... we could actually probably pull off a whole album if you guys want to take the time, we all probably have songs written we could use or base something off of....

if you guys are up for it, I definitely am:cheers:

On board for this project
-eberg15101 - guitar, some keys, misc instruments(midi capabilites)
-Cosmic Harmony - R. Guitar, backing vocals
- Feldy - Guitar, banjo, backing vocals
- Thumper - drums, bass, keys, guitar, backing vocals
- Greg- guitar, vocals, sitar
- MP(possibly) - vocals
- noodles - guitar (I think, tell me if I'm wrong:heheh:)
- CN -drums, guitar, vocals

Well I'm not sure what all I could do but I can play several different instruments with mild to adequate professional.....plus I sing which is what I'd say is my instrument of choice since I have quite a bit of range and power (more so the former)......soo.....I dunno....

Thank you for the support Sunny.. and Cosmic, what all can you play?, it doesn't matter, but just list it up, if you're comfortable singing lead on songs, that is awesome and if not you can never have too many harmonies:grinthumb

I'll edit a list of all involved into the OP

Well I can play keyboard and anything in a guitar like format (i.e. ukulele, harp, cello, etc) but behind vocals I'm most comfortable playing rhythm guitar. I've sang lead vocals in bands in the past but I've never actually recorded anything so....I dunno....that right there I find daunting... I suppose in any case I could always sing high harmonies.

We will figure it out once we find everyone involved, but good to know, try out recording lead vocals and see how it goes... just do like a simple melody on guitar or piano and sing and see how it goes:grinthumb

I don't have any home recording gear :wa:

I mean I'm living in the now...home theater , flat screen t.v., high speed and all that but I have a couple friends who have that stuff and if I need to demo it's with them. I'm a singer. :heheh:

One being Jim from Gynger Lynn and he's like 2 hours a way from me :heheh:

...and Pat...who we would have to see how his schedules are.

This sounds like something fun though!! I was tickled reading it. :grinthumb

Alright MP, this doesn't need to be professional quality(at least yet, if it would honestly get to that it would be awesome) but if you just get a mic and cable adapter, or mic and an interface, and a freeware program you could probably get some decent results, that is what I do... but I don't know what I'm doing and have a mixer in my setup:lmao:

I can do something for it! My recording stuff isn't great, but I have a guitar (well, a couple actually - acoustic or electric, take your pick!) and I can do backing vocals (I could also do lead vocals if pushed, but I'm not fussed)

At an extreme push, I could add some banjo in there, but I'm by no means an expert on the instrument
