I think the footage here of 2 of Rocks finest bands is fantastic ! What a gig ! Love the Purple....but the pure heavyness of the Sabs win it for me

I voted for Deep Purple as their set is well known, but I do not think Sabbath's was ever released on CD (it's been on TV). ELP played after Deep Purple, but I do not think their performance has ever been released on CD either. I've got a feeling it is not even on the Manticore official bootleg series. If there are Sabbath or ELP bootlegs, I haven't heard them.

There was something really awful going on with the audio on the Sabbath vid. I replaced it with one that didn't have that additional noise going on.



BTW: I'll go with Sabbath on this matchup.
