Well not that much of an exception in my opinion, if you check on Grooveshark, there are atleast 30 broadcasts (click for link) that have been successful.
It is difficult, but if you can do it better than at least one of does 30 broadcasters, you will get listeners.

For me, the Broadcasts option doesn't even work. It may have something to do with the fact that I use Internet Explorer at work, which is the only place I listen to Grooveshark really. When I try to use it through Firefox at home, I think it works.

Anyway, Grooveshark has been sucking a lot lately. Often songs just don't play and it skips to the next one. The weird thing that is happening currently is when you play an album from start to finish, it always shows as if the first track is playing no matter which track is playing. :uh:

Also, it is extremely irritating when a vast number of songs from an artist's discoraphy are missing. Case in point: King Crimson, Peter Gabriel.

Hey Musikwala,
Broadcasts or songs not playing on Grooveshark can be caused by outdated flash player. I use chrome because u don't have to manually get the flash player update. Firefox is also good but once in awhile the add-ons have to be checked for plugin updates.

And yea, its annoying to not find songs ur looking for hehe.. I try to upload songs to Grooveshark whenever I can.. or when I have patience for :D

On the top of the GS page, right side from your nickname there are 3 buttons, it's the one in the middle with the shape of a cloud with an arrow.
I think most songs have been uploaded by users, have fun! :D
