Sweet Pain(UK) was more of a session than an actual group and was released in 1969. Members of Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers assembled to record some hot 'n' heavy blues.
The session consisted of saxophonist Dick Heckstall Smith who had played with numerous British blues band such as Alexis Korner's Blues Inc., the Graham Bond Organisation, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and later went on to Colosseum and a solo career.
Drummer Aynsley Dunbar who also played with John Mayall and went onto form his own blues rock band, The Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation and went on to the Jeff Beck Group, Whitesnake, UFO, amongst others.
Annette Vox(vocals) and her brother Victor(vocals, keys, trumpet) also played with Alexis Korner as well as appearing on the Jesus Christ Superstar sound track.
