These guy's are active again?. I've seen several 'new' BOC cds in the cd rakes in recent months.

I don't think they ever stopped being active, just no new music since 2001. Old bands pushing new music these days is a crapshoot.

I listened to the album several times now on you tube....decent lp , but it's missing that old BOC vibe and I cant put my finger on what exactly that is. All albums now sound so clean and digital due to newer production techniques and I get that, but their older lps have an atmosphere that is hard to define. They sound more sinister ...or esoteric is the right word.
I think its hard to keep writing strange (enigmatic?) rock songs after 50 years without becoming a parody of yourself (The Alchemist comes close but is still esoteric enough and Secret Road has a nice vibe and great guitar work).........but they are still worth listening to even if they and us are getting old.

Never bought Club Ninja and now I recall why after listening to it on you tube. Might be the worst lp they ever did.
Moved on to listening to Heaven Forbid...didnt buy this one either but it rocks and has a few BOC type tunes on it. May have to look for a used copy at the local record shop tomorrow.
Curse and Symbol are certainly better but I really like several songs on Curse like Old Gods, Pocket and Stone of Love.
