One of my favorite bands from across the pond. I fell in love with their debut album Silent Alarm. IMO Silent Alarm is one of the better debut albums of any band. Matt Tong is an excellent drummer and prooves you don't need a huge drum kit to sound good. One of my favorite bands of the new millenium.

Bloc Party are great, I have a few songs from Silent Alarm (should really get around to getting the whole thing) and their latest album, Intimacy. I love how the vocals are so varied from song to song, the killer guitar riffs and indeed the great drumming. Probably my favourite from them would be This Modern Love:
