Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson thinks Taylor Swift’s music is horrible

(HMG) – Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson is going to be taking some heat for an interview he did with Nylon Guys magazine. In it the former husband to Kate Hudson directed his ire or perhaps annoyance at Taylor Swift. It seemed his overall point was that there were very few modern artists he enjoys listening to – because most acts are little more than products of a computer.

“They have stylists who dress them, they make records with producers who play a chord into the computer and it all comes out the same … When you have computers doing it all for you … there’s no individuality. Singing isn’t always about being on key; it’s about emotionality (sic),” Robinson said.

But then he was rather specific about his dislike of Taylor Swift being perceived as a talented music artist. “I find it embarrassing that adults are like, ‘Taylor Swift is very talented.’,” Robinson told Nylon Guys magazine.

“She’s not. She might be cute, but she’s horrible.”

Swift, who is releasing of new single, Mine, and next month’s album Speak Now, won four Grammy awards, including album of the year in January this year, for her second album Fearless, and was named Billboard magazine’s Artist of the year in 2009. Robinson’s criticism comes almost a year after Kanye West ruined her big night at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards by protesting her first-ever win at the event.

I totally agree with him. Taylor Swift's music is garbage.

agreed how can chris right such a gem in She Talks To Angels and not have anything else that ever got me to raise an eyebrow.
Taylor Swift is better than most of her peers who can't write lyrics or play an instrument. Although any teenage girl can write about a crush and isnt given the title of a great songwriter.
