Solid Space - "Destination Moon"

The Visual Pic shown in the Youtube is a picture of the early Cyberman along with Zoe from the Dr. Who story The Wheel in Space.

It brings back fond memories of the earlier fully missing story "The Tomb of the Cybermen", which was rediscovered in the early 90s. Some wonderful music was produced from the BBC Radio Workshop, unsure if soundtrack material of their work exists, though I found these:

I don't recognise the full sequence in this one, though I recognise the part where everyone is down in the Tomb and everything is frozen over.

and this sounds like the part when the Controller Cybermen is brought out of his Tomb.

Sadly both videos are blocked in my country. It's a real shame about early BBC productions having been wiped, like early Dr Who and Dark Shadows.

Hmmm, don't know why their blocking you, here's the information about those Soundtracks I posted:

Astronautics Suite (Complete) - Electronic and Cosmic Music | Volume 1
Wilfred Josephs | Hendrik Erik Nordgren

Space Adventure (From Dr. Who) - ORIGINAL SCIENCE FICTION | HORROR | FILM | TV THEMES VOLUME 1

The Fortunate thing for Dr. Who despite Master tapes being wiped, the show was distributed globally on 8mm film I think, occasionally a missing episode or a whole story gets discovered, "The Enemy of the World" & most of "The Web of Fear" were rediscovered in 2013, though that might be it. Other places and sources such as the ABC archives here in Australia uncovered edited out footage out of 60s Dr. Who Episodes which were deemed too violent, which was how they managed to patch up one of the later 1st Doctors Stories "The War Machines" as well as footage from another BBC show called "Blue Peter". Apart from that excellent Audio samples exist thanks to fan base people who recorded Dr. Who from the TV sets in the 60s, Tele snaps also exist which help people Reanimate the episodes and build them that way.

I think some times US and UK videos don't get play nice in each other's country. No idea why, but I've noticed that a few times.
