I'm going back to 1956 with some of the really early Electronic Music by Louis & Bebe Barron whose works feature on the Forbidden Planet Soundtrack.

I'm unsure if this is the earliest of Electronic Music, though I can see from this how styles such as Ambient could surface.

Many interesting tunes from this Soundtrack album, I always like the Ancient Krell Music.

Another really cool song I don't hear often enough is Jonathan King's "Everyone's Gone To The Moon", which came out in 1965 which I guess came out in preparation for the Space Race that was on.
