Seeing Lou Reed mentioned reminds me of "Sweet Jane" live. Before Reed takes the stage the band plays a long instrumental intro with some excellent guitar work by Steve Hunter (I don't know the second guitarist).
I knew a few people back then that bought the album just for that song (and I was one of them).
