Bands I like, that I think are forgotten in the time of Rock 'n' Roll and deserves a lot more of attention:

Free
Zephyr
Aunt Mary
Junipher Greene
Titanic
Ten Years After (don't know if I would call it forgotten, but underrated maybe (?))
Budgie
Blackfoot
Humble Pie

Lets see obscure but likable Krokus, Nazereth, Frank Marino and Mahogany Rush. I was blown away tripping the light fantastic on youtube to find such a plethora of old school stuff Full Blown Videos of Golden Ear Ring's Radar Love and lots of old stuff War, Grand Funk Railroad, BTO, Robin Trower, Zappa? jamming with lennon?, Manfred Manns Earth Band. Would like a ripped copy of early Foghat Album Boys to Chat Girls to Bounce. BTW was just blown away by old youtube Rush Live Videos when Alex Lifeson was still very! young, his guitar work just blows me away. Check out more recent stuff by Austin Band's Soul Hat and Chris Duarte

Oh BTW I am a little Obsessive Compulsive after finding out my local University of Texas at Austin has 33,000 cd titles and I could check out unlimited numbers at a time I used airport luggage to rip 500 titles every other day till I had amassed oh 11,700 albums or 190 Gb of music at 192kbps in windows media player did this using 4 separate 52x cd roms by usb all in a row .

And then Christ I found that they had original mint vinyl albums in refrigerated storage I could remaster but not leave library with very timely but there are some very cool KUT Radio Station Promo Stuff in Pristine Condition wish I could say the same for the libraries transfer phono and amp.

Good picks dave! Last time I was in Austin I saw Joe Bonamassa at Antones's. This after seeing Deep Purple and Thin Lizzy in San Antonio the night before. I got some good friends out there. Hope to get out there again soon. Great town.

Although they are still together , I think Poco with Richie Furay, Paul Cotton, Jim Messina, Timothy B. Schmit,George Grantham, and Rusty Young (69-74 years).
