Rapeman covers ZZ Top. Steve told me they're one of his all-time favorite bands. Love what they did with this track!

(The Rolling Stones') best remake had to be "It's All Over Now".

I agree! "It's All Over Now" had been written by Bobby Womack and his sister Shirley and first recorded by Bobby's band the Valentinos. It only stayed on the Billboard hit charts for two weeks though peaking out at #94 in July of 1964. Bobby was initially opposed to the Stones covering his song. He thought that Mick and the boys should get their own songs. His manager had to convince him otherwise. When he got his first royalty cheque six months later though, he changed his tune completely. "You tell that Mick Jagger fellow he can have any of my songs. I got a whole bunch of other real good ones if he wants 'em" he said.

Helter Skelter:

I think we all know the original:

Here's a cover that, in a few ways, I like better than the original:

Cum On Feel The Noize:

The original:

The Quiet Riot cover, which I don't care for much at all (this is the most well-known version):

The Oasis cover, which is probably my favorite of the 3:

My Generation:

Once again, I think we all know the original:

More Oasis!:

Working Class Hero:

Original:

Green Day:
