Beethoven

Not only did he compose his masterpieces when he was virtually deaf but he conducted his new Symphonies to the orchestra. Now that is nearly like driving a car blindfolded.

and he did all of it in 57 years.

One of the all time great composers no doubt ....but I would rather listen to Bach and Mozart when enjoying classical music.
Their melodies resonate more with me.
