Axis: Bold as Love vs Tres Hombres

Axis actually ranks as my favorite Hendrix album. The way I see it, there are a lot of people out there who played great blues rock like on Electric Ladyland, especially in Jimi's era you have the Bluesbreakers and Fleetwood Mac, Zeppelin, even the Doors got into it at the end. But with the unique sounds Jimi Hendrix could coax from his guitar, nobody could quite play psychedelic rock on Jimi's level. They just couldn't get out quite as far past the docks as he could.
