This was a great poll, quite interesting :D

Thanks, Syd. :grinthumb

I voted for:

Chris Cornell (Sammy would have been my second choice but Chris is more flexible as a singer)
Slash (It was close between him and Tom, though I will admit that Satch is the most talented of the three. Stylistically however I prefer both Tom and Slash to him.)
Michael Anthony (Tim Commerford and him are about the same as bassists however Michael has the extra credit of great backing vocals)
Chad Smith (having played in a funky band like the Chili Peppers Chad has this great groove to his drumming that I really love)

I read this poll, re-read it and re-read it again but still voted for the 4 Chickenfoot dudes. :peek

Now, I'm voting on overall talent, not necessarily favorite. I love Satch and I think that he's one of THE greatest guitar players in history, but for the most part, I'd rather listen to Slash, who is also a hell of a player.

I think that both Duff and Mike Anthony are decent, but not great bassists, however as LG pointed out, Anthony has the backup vocals that make him much more valuable than just his flat-out bass skills.
