Angels & Airwaves (Official Thread)

Like many others, this is a band that has stuck with me through every musical phase I have gone through, and I recently just found both the I-Empire and the We Don't Need To Whisper albums in my library, so I decided to both play the crap out of those albums, and create a thread for them. They're pretty much a fairly easy listening rock band, with some surprises thrown in here and there.

It's been a while since I first laid ears on this band, I had stumbled upon the "The Adventure" song on a friend's myspace,
and I kept going back because that song was absolutely incredible.
Has a long lead in, and is definitely worth the wait when the vocalist finally starts to sing.

but it's probably my favorite, and in my opinion, the best song off the album:

Hey Prime, I'm a fan of all the Blink side projects. My favorite was Box Car Racer but Angels and Airwaves is good as well. I have the first album and the digital version of Love in my collection. I never did buy I-Empire because when I streamed it just never caught my interest but after hearing your pick on here I'm definitely interested in giving it another try. The LOVE album is my favorite by them thus far and I'll buy that when it's released. It's pretty epic and tells a story!

I'll be looking into picking up the LOVE album. Haven't even checked out a single song off the album yet. But I think I should try to get it and give it a good listen. We Don't Need To Whisper and I-Empire are two phenomenal albums, so it wouldn't surprise me if LOVE & LOVE II are just as good if not better.

I've heard that first song before. Not sure where. Might have been a television ad or intro to something.

Well, by fluke Prime, I have I-Empire! The music club I was part of which was awesome BTW ($6.99 no shipping every month) shut down but apparently is sending me my monthly selection until it closes sent this to me. I had it on my queue but it must have got bumped up due to people buying the other selections. Anyway, I'll let you know how it is!
