^^It's not any kind of official list Mud, just a general all around survey of Canadians from all walks of life about the songs they remember/like the most.

I disagree with a lot of them, but they did pick some beauties as well and I don't hate anyone for having a different opinion from me.:grinthumb

Thanx to The 70's Guy who was kind of enough to type out the list:grinthumb I was thinking about but it would of taken me all day. I'm no whiz on the keys.

All in all with the considerations that must be taken into account it's a well diversified perspective of all music genres and eras. Sure, I'd make some changes, add some, detract others, and change rankings.

^^I am always surprised when I look at the talented people we have produced here over the years. We are so "Dwarfed" by our giant neighbour to the south it is kind of amazing we have a culture of our own at all.:D

But every band or artist who ever started here always wanted to break through in the US, that would assure them of financial security. Only a small handful have really made it without achieving that, and they still tour the smaller clubs and venues here.

LG, Teenage Heads s/t debut was a great high energy party album. Lot's of fun.

Remember Martha and the Muffins? I thought maybe Echo Beach would be on the list. Not being a fan of new wave of the early '80's I did enjoy thier first Lp, Metro Music and the third, This is the Ice Age.
