Revolver.

I still don't "get" Pet Sounds' acclaim. Three radio hits on the album is decent I guess, but the rest of the album tracks are forgettable. Is the album heralded simply for its rich studio production? Big deal.

And what's the deal with led Zeppelin, what's the big deal?

Lol Brian Wilson is a genius, listen to that album and other stuff that was out at the time, it is a masterpiece

Revolver for me.

Understand the liking for Pet Sounds, but was never a great Beach Boys fan.

Possibly because I grew up in Scotland

I have always liked the Harmonizing vocals of the Beach Boys but if I REALLY want harmony.....I will go for CSN or Grateful Dead (Steel Magnolias is excellent)

I've actually wondered that ever since I bought most of Led Zeppelin albums to understand the appeal. I still don't understand what the big deal is.

Revolver for me. although it's not really an album I feel like listening to much these days. Pet Sounds is good, but to me it's really a collection of catchy pop tunes, I never understood what was meant to be so "deep" about it.

Revolver. Taxman and Eleanore Rigby trump Sloop John B and Wouldn't It Be Nice anyday.
