Gov’t Mule - Shout!

All good stuff! My favourites of those is Gov’t Mule, which is one of my absolute favourite albums of 2013. Cool to see Riverside make your list, I love that band, but wasn't as crazy about the new album, as some of their older stuff.

I have also heard a couple of the other albums on your list (ones not quoted here), but far from enough to really judge them... or maybe they just didn't leave enough of an impression on me. Some of the other stuff, I'll definitely check out. Judging by the photo, I think I need to check Kate Nash out :D

Love the other photos here as well. I really wish I'd caught Steve Hackett on tour. Would have loved to hear those Genesis classics live!

Cool thread, Sir!

Their will perhaps be no one that I would be more jealous of the acts you've seen than you man! :heheh: Not only in quantity but we obviously love the same stuff. As far as albums we haven't chattered about in threads I have to say that I love the Laura marling album. I'm a newbie to her but that album made me a fan. She's got a really sexy and jazzy sound. One thing that really stands out is how seamless the album is and how it flows. :grinthumb

:gig It's all good Soot!!!
Glad to see another Laura fan! Been a fan since I saw her back in 2008 at the time her backing band was Mumford & Sons. Yeah every album keeps getting better.

Yeah Mule album surprised me a bit was a big fan in the 90's and then they got a little to hard for me. The songs on he new album have a nice flow! Love all Riverside's albums. The new one hit a stop with me and I've been playing it all year.

Kate's a cutie, she is on the quirky side but I liked her new album.

Nice to see such a comprehensive album and gig list! How the heck do you find the time?? ;)

Anyway, how come there isn't more discussion of current/new albums on this forum.. aside from personal threads like this one and Soot's thread?
