Aerosmith Retires From Touring, Citing Steven Tyler’s Vocal Injury

Last year, the band’s frontman, Steven Tyler, suffered a vocal injury during a show, and the farewell tour was postponed. The band announced its retirement on Friday, saying a full recovery was not possible.

I'm sad I won't see them on the Peace Out Tour, but I was lucky enough to have seen them in '22 for their 50th Anniversary Show.

Over my lifetime, I have seen Aerosmith 12 times. First was in 1976 Rocks tour.

Sorry to hear this news but given the severity of Steven Tyler's injury, it make sense.

I saw them twice. Once with Guns N' Roses opening for them and once with The Black Crowes opening.

At least Steven knows enough to retire when, vocally, he knows he can't give it his all. I can't say that about every singer.
