At the moment I'm going through the process of having to revalue via the interwebs my collection.. as I now have to insure them separately - ridiculous what some gangsters are asking, and the Record Collector Bible isn't that reliable.
I must have had a thing for :New Riders Of The Purple Sage at one time.
I have listed all my albums on discogs and used the median price to insure my records. Quite a handy service.
The value of a record is only what someone is willing to buy it for. It's all very well having a record that's worth £150, but you can only get £60 - where's the rest of the evaluation gone?

December '23 and I'm still filling my shelves (at a slower pace)... Recent trips to Manchester, Nottingham and Copenhagen proved fruitful and expensive

.. I'm rebooting this thread based on dr wu's relaying the other day about his discovery of Lucifers Friends albums.... it would be great to hear from members (old & new) - how records and music collecting... and listening began. The reaction from family and friends and methods of our daily listens.
Thanks, ian.
