OK, some of my favorite bands of all time are on this list so it pains me to leave 'em in the dust but Rush is probably my favorite band ever so I chose Rush. If Rush never existed then I would chose a 5 way tie between Triumph, ZZ Top, The Police, ELP, and King's X.
