Not a bad band P&C but if I'm honest I think they have Nickelback disease and every song tends to feel the same. I have a couple of their albums but never seem to find anything that beats their singles. I do like their radio ballads though!
I like 3 Doors Down. Kryptonite was a big hit, but unfortunately, got too much radio time, and to some people that is a type of death..................
Before I say I love 3 Doors Down I should mention that I have only listened to Kyptonite .. and only Kryptonite.
The song just strikes my soul and I love it!
I took a walk around the world to
Ease my troubled mind
I left my body laying somewhere
In the sands of time
I watched the world float to the dark
Side of the moon
I feel there is nothing I can do, yeah
I watched the world float to the
Dark side of the moon
After all I knew it had to be something
To do with you
I really don't mind what happens now and then
As long as you'll be my friend at the end
If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well, will you be
There holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side with
My superhuman might
Kryptonite
You called me strong, you called me weak
But your secrets I will keep
You took for granted all the times I
Never let you down
You stumbled in and bumped your head, if
Not for me then you would be dead
I picked you up and put you back
On solid ground
If I go crazy then will you still
Call me Superman
If I'm alive and well will you be
There holding my hand
I'll keep you by my side with my
Superhuman might
Kryptonite
Despite my comments in here I don't hate this group. They have a couple songs per c.d. I like. The third album was really cheap so I bought it recently.
For the first time I think I've gotten an album by these guys where they rose above "not too bad". The new album is spot on and full of energy with enough changes throughout where I don't feel like I'm listening to one whole song rather than an album. I've always liked the vocal from this band though. Out of predictable generic rock bands these guys are toward the top.
When You're Young
(The single has the typical 3DD riff but an overall good structured rock song)
Back To Me
(3DD rips into a Kelly Clarkson style rock ballad, nice vocal and lyric)
My Way
(An example of how the album's a little heavier like there debut)
The bassist (Todd Harrell) for rock band 3 Doors Down has been charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication after he was involved in a crash that killed another driver, Nashville police said on Saturday.
