Hi folks. This has been driving me mad for years. Why is 'Run for Home' by Lindisfarne and written by Alan Hull, exactly the same song as 'Running Man' by Gerry and the Pacemakers and written by Gerry Marsden? Note for note, chord for chord, word for word - the same song. Johnny Walker can't help. Can you?

Sounds like someone jacked a song. It wouldn't be the first time.

    No 2 exact the same,

Bass note maybe at the start or some where in between,

always a difference in the line,

    Copy right reasons,
Unless $ has changed hands on a contract,
