I've been reading this thread for like 3 hours and watching the vids - so many brilliant songs and covers - I love the Killers' Romeo & Juliet, and Bowie's Friday on My Mind - awesome!! I'm only new here so I hope I'm not gonna lower the tone or anything :D... But I couldn't think of another one...- dj44

Good point... that's an expensive way to get y'self some eggin' fun!! Having said that, I'm an Aussie and I've NEVER taken eggs to a show - whisky, maybe, but not eggs... I promise it's not a national tradition... :D- dj44

Hi Whalerfan! I live in Wollongong, New South Wales - affectionately known as The Gong... Sadly not too many classic bands have come out of the Gong, with the exception of Tumbleweed in the 90s. hello Riff Raff! Where do I start on favourite bands? Well, I love all kinds of 60s and 70s rock - Frank Zappa is a big favourite, the Stones, Jimi Hendrix, the Stooges, Bowie, Allman Brothers, the Doors, the Beatles.
