Hammerfall (Official Thread)
the first time i heard of the mighty Hammerfall..was when i got a copy of Classic Rock mag and it had a dvd of the metal gods awards show attached, the video of "blood bound" was on the dvd...suffice it to say, that was me won over...i went out and hunted down cd's and vids on you tube...and got... -

What was your first concert?
hmm...first proper gig woulda been either Led Zep or Slade at Randwick racecourse in the Sydney suburbs in '74...although I did go to Sunbury that year as well as seeing Hush and TMG at Sydney Town Hall...but i think the Slade gig was first- Recky

I saw Slade at Randwick racecourse in the suburbs of Sydney around about 74...I saw them again just after the amazing kamikaze syndrome was released in england when i was travelling around...and thoroughly enjoyed both gigs...but really, I wouldnt go see any version of Slade that didnt have Nod...- Recky

I went for the song that is still on my mp3 gadget to this very day and always on kiss comps for the car....WAR MACHINE...first time I heard the song was that video of Kiss in Brazil...took hold of me then and hasnt let go.....one of my all time top KISS songs- Recky

Top 10 Loudest Bands of All Time
I saw Lemmy and the boys a couple of years ago in Holland, while visiting rellies...took my ears a week to get over it, Hammerfall were pretty loud, even AC/DC and Iron Maiden at Acer Arena in the Sydney suburbs were fairly up there in noise levels....BUT...back in the day, in pubs around...- Recky

What Makes A Great Live Album?
yeh, got to agree with that statement Powerage, a good example, for me, is SLADE, they sounded awesome on their SLADE ALIVE album, and it is still THE live album I recommend to anybody ( other than Purple in Japan that is..;))- Recky
