What's the best song on Aerosmith "Aerosmith"?

The best song would have to be "Dream On" but MY favorite tune from the album would be Mama Kin. I also love Write Me & Walkin' the Dog

    The Swinging Blue Jeans

I love all this kind of stuff. True, I love my hard rock, punk, Metal, & blues but I spend a lot of time listening to songs like this, Gerry & the Pacemakers, the Searchers, Herman's Hermits,Dave Clark 5,Freddie & the Dreamers...etc. Saturdays when we do our shopping I have an ultimate playlist...

Rolling Stones release another bootleg club concert

I don't really find it odd that they chose this show as they have already released the 4 concerts I mentioned above through their archive site. This was a rare club show with a couple of different cover tunes which is why they probably chose it. I know they have many more classic performances...

Rolling Stones release another bootleg club concert

I'll be getting this. I wish more bands would start going through their archives & release shows. I've bought the other 4 releases so far (Brussels '73,L.A. '75, Hampton '81, Tokyo '90) & they all are phenomenal & reasonably priced at only $4.99 through Google Music in the States

    Aerosmith (Official Thread)

Wow, I doubt that would have worked out for the long haul & I know there are a lot better choices that would fit their style but I think they were just looking at Sammy's name value. They probably figured it would work out in a Van Hagar way where they could stay on top writing their post 80's...

    Favourite Harmonica Song.

Anything by James Cotton I guess I would say Whammer Jammer by Magic Dick with J. Geils Band but I could say any early J.Geils tune. I just seen them live over the summer & Magic Dick is a show in himself. Phenomenal live! I'm also partial to Pills by the NY Dolls with David Johansen on the harp

New York Dolls vs. Ramones (Costume Battle #5 and last)

New York Dolls get my vote. Their look very outrageous back in the 70's & really influenced a lot bands throughout the 70's & 80's. Before the Ramones Joey even dressed similar to the Dolls when he opened for them with his band Sniper. When Kiss began they even tried copying the Dolls look in...

    Chuck Berry (Official Thread)

Re: Chuck Berry - Offical Thread I always considered Chuck Berry as the King of Rock & Roll. I was fortunate to be in the front row for Chuck Berry & Joan Jett around 1987 & during "Rollover Beethoven" they were pulling people onstage & I was right next to Chuck

Rolling Stone Top 10 Prog Albums

Great Lists!! I'm not deep into progressive music where I consider myself an expert( I could throw on "Nursery Cryme", Foxtrot, or "Wind & Wuthering" by Genesis & sit back & love them but if you asked me to name my favorite songs of the albums I couldn't name many songs other than "Your Own...

Big Ears, I enjoyed the Zalvation album as well. I was hoping when it was released it would have sparked a new life. Truck carrying KISS/Crue pyro overturns on highway,Detroit show postponed

I'm actually not going to see them on September 16th! It was a really tough decision but because of the venue I'd never make it through the show with my back (especially this past week). The venue is about an hour away but there is only one route into the parking lot & one route out. It is a...
