what's the difference (other than the obvious cover)? I was at Best Buy the other day and they only had a 3D cover version which was $12. Went to Target right across the street and they had the 'normal' cover/case which was $9.

I thought there was to be a bonus track with the Best Buy edition. But I was in there the same time a couple other fans were on that morning of the release...and we were all puzzled that there wasn't one.

Either way, the 3D cover is pretty cool :grinthumb

Also with the Best Buy edition you get a free membership into the Kiss Army for free (shipping is free too). You enter the code included & they send you a Kiss bracelet, key chain, membership card, & a 25 percent off coupon at Kiss online.

I bought the Best buy 3 D one & also the zinepack from Walmart which is real cool.
I really like the album. I feel that their influences really stand out on this album more than any other album I hear The Mc5 on Back to the Stoneage, on other songs I hear Humble Pie, the Yardbirds, Zeppelin, the Who, & even a bit of Tull's thumping rhythm of Locomotive Breath on Take Me Down Below (Gene & Paul did cover that one pre-Kiss in Wicked Lester/Rainbow at there few shows)

By the way, great seeing the shots of Mark St. John. I really love Animalize with Mark's work. It never seems to get much mention anywhere but I think it's great

Yeah the Mark St. John pics ARE cool! So bucky then I take it the Best Buy deal was an ordering thing??

Cause the ones on the shelves themselves were just 3D covers and that's it

I had pre-orderd mine but a friend of mine got his at a store & his had the Kiss Army code & actually he told me about the code. He got his on the day it came out & mine didn't get to my house until the next day. The code was on a small insert included

Yea, it's heavy and often gets overlooked.

Coming off Dynasty and Unmasked, along with the inner strife and uncertainty, KISS was in full blown identity crisis.

KISS lost focus, so it stands to reason they'd lose fans.

Can't be loyal to a band when you don't know what that band stands for anymore.

Creatures Of The Night kicks @ss, for sure. It gets overlooked.

Paul's vocals are huge on 'Danger'.

Every one of Gene's cuts on this album are heavy.

Killer, War Machine, I Love It Loud, Rock And Roll Hell to me, all have the Destroyer/Rock And Roll Over sound.

My favorite cut, though, is Saint And Sinner It's sparse but thunderous, with a really great, etheral solo.
