Fast and very melodic song. The most surprising thing for me was the string arrangements, which were more in the manner of disco, than rock - but it strangely worked great. Outstanding. 9/10.
I'm here, @Mr.Mojo Rising. :grinthumb This song is obviously influenced by early 70's proto-heavy metal and stoner rock, but I think the vocals lack power and aggression. 7/10.
And here's an underrated classic. Soaring demonic howl by Jim Gillette (not worse, than King Diamond) and virtuoso...
Soft song with pretty positive melody. Not bad, but I'd prefer more rich arrangements. 6/10.
Next one is in Russian. The band - Legion, the song - "The Game". It was written specially to one of the ice hockey tournaments, as its official song.
Man, in this thread it's common to express your opinion about the song posted above, and then post one of your songs, so that someone else can write their opinion about it. That's the point of the game, not just to post a few songs in a row.
Very unusual sounding. Really oriental vocal melody combined with fully 60's British-style guitar parts. Interesting. 7.5/10.
Next one: an old song (1991) by Soviet/Russian band Aria with pretty horror lyrics. It's called "The Zombie". :grinthumb
It starts soft and relaxing, but then it turns to melodious hymn. I'm not surprised сonsidering that one of the co-authors of the song is Jim Peterik from Survivor. An awesome song by a great band. 10/10.
